How to make a Reuben Sandwich in the oven:

If you want to make a larger batch of sandwiches, using the oven to toast your bread may be a faster way to go. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, slather one side of the rye bread with butter, and place the butter side down on a sheet pan. Top each piece of bread with Swiss cheese, and corned beef, and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted. Then finish each sandwich with Thousand Island dressing and sauerkraut.

How do you make Thousand Island Dressing?

Thousand Island dressing is just made of simple everyday ingredients you probably have in your pantry. Just mix 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup pickles, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, a dash of cayenne pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar together.
