Favorite Fall Salad this Recipe!

Thanksgiving is this week! Ah! This year will be our first time hosting. Believe it or not I have never made a turkey before! My mom has always hosted, and she always makes the turkey. Sooooo Nolan and I have researched the best recipe to try. We decided to go with Alton Brown's Roast Turkey Recipe. I will let you know how it goes!

Anyway, we always have a fall salad alongside our Thanksgiving meal. I know it seems a little weird to eat salad on Thanksgiving, but it adds a nice freshness against all those heavy casseroles. This is my Favorite Fall Salad! The apples adds sweetness and pairs beautifully with blue cheese. Top this salad with toasted pecans and a balsamic vinaigrette for a perfect combination of flavors! Yum, this is seriously my favorite fall salad. Sometimes if I am feeling extra fancy I substitute pears for the apples.

(p.s. Next week I will be continuing Meal Prep Monday! Get ready for a nourishing lunch recipe!)
