Easy Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Danish

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 8oz cans crescent dough
  • 1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce | sub raspberry, peach, strawberry jam

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon
  • 2 Tablespoons hot water

 

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whip together 8 ounces cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Divide each can of crescent dough into four squares on a baking sheet.
  4. Add roughly 1 tablespoon of both the cream cheese mixture and jam onto the crescent squares.
  5. Fold up the edges of the crescent dough to make little nests and bake for 10-12 minutes. 
  6. Whisk together the glaze (powdered sugar, vanilla, lemon, hot water) and drizzle over the cooled Danishes.
