Yes, it does have a subtle coconut flavor which compliments the nuttiness of the basmati rice. It's important to grab full fat unsweetened coconut milk. Otherwise this rice will be way to sweet!

How do you make this rice?
- Cook the coconut rice by bringing two cans of full fat unsweetened coconut milk, 1 cup water, and 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a boil in a medium pot
- Stir 2 cups of white rice into the pot, cover with a lid, turn the heat to low and cook for 25-30 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed
So easy and delicious!

- 1 (13.66 oz) can unsweetened coconut milk, full fat
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Bring 1 can of full fat unsweetened coconut milk, 1 cup water and 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a boil in a medium pot
- Stir 1 cup of basmati rice into the coconut milk, cover with a lid, turn the heat to low and cook for 25-30 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed
- Garnish with chopped green onions
