Description

This buttery caramely bar is definitely an impressive dessert. It's beautiful and delicious.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Garnish

  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Fudge
  • Caramel Topping

Equipment

  • 8x8 pan
  • 1 large bowl

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees,
  2. In a large bowl or stand mixer, mix together (I just use my hands) the butter, sugar, flour, and salt until a crumbly dough forms. Add the coconut, chocolate chips, caramel, and walnuts to the dough and mix together.
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  4. Serve with ice cream, fudge and caramel.
