Beer Brats are a delicious grilling option for any cookout. Topped with sauerkraut and mustard, these succulent sausages are a crowd pleaser!
- 1 package of brats (I like Johnsonville original)
- 3 beers, preferably a dark amber or even a stout!
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 6 hoagie rolls
Boil the brats, beer, and onion over medium high - high heat for 30 minutes.
Grill the brats for about 10 minutes, flipping sides occasionally (The brats are already cooked through, you just want a nice crust on the outside).
Feel free to use a grill pan indoors if you do not have an outdoor grill handy.
